About Me
I have always been fascinated by how people think and the diversity of cultures in the world. As a result, I started traveling and learned to speak Spanish. I obtained my BA in sociology from University of California, Irvine, with minors in Women’s Studies and Spanish. I obtained my Masters of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I obtained my Doctorate in Psychology from Meridian University with a concentration in Integral Psychology.
I have 34 years of experience in the helping profession, and have been practicing as a licensed psychotherapist in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas since 2008. During this time, I have helped children, teenagers, adults, and families resolve conflicts and cope with adverse physical, mental and behavioral health issues. I also have treated homeless military veterans, as well as individuals with intellectual issues, process addictions (eating disorders, sex and love addiction), codependency, chemical dependency, persistent and severe mental health issues, and various forms of trauma, including domestic violence.
